Apple Plotnick Jannotta is a Virginian, a short story writer, and realistic fiction author who weaves economics and geopolitics into her work. Her current work, The Market, is a dystopian fiction adventure novel which evokes a modern vision of The Jungle through a futuristic Amazon.com-like warehouse. She has published short fiction in the Washington Post Sunday Magazine, won a Washington State Artist Trust Grant (2017), and an ACLU award for her poetry.
A graduate of Kenyon College (BA, 2000), the University of Birmingham, UK (MA, 2005), and Washington State Artist’s Trust Literary EDGE Workshop (2015), Apple now writes outside Seattle.
Currently seeking representation.
